As March comes to a close, it’s a harsh reality to know that Utah’s ski resorts will soon be closed too! The days are numbered and it’s a little depressing. However, there are still hot deals for lodging and ski passes that you can find to almost any Utah resort.
Wolf Mountain has already closed while Snowbird the only resort that is yet to determine their closing date. Here are the anticipated dates for closure for the rest of Utah’s ski resorts:
Resorts Closing April 1
Resorts Closing April 8
Resorts Closing April 15
Alta (open Fri-Sun until April 29)
Park City Mountain Resort
Resorts Closing April 22
Brighton (night operations close April 5)
With the days dwindling down for the resorts, they are pulling out some of the best deals of the season.
From now until April 15, Park City Mountain Resort has select lodging and multi-day ski lift tickets with 35 percent off! See here for more PCMR deals.
Also until April 15, Deer Valley has a few deals going on, even a free night of lodging and skiing if you book with certain lodges for 3-4 day minimum.
If you book 3 or more days at the Canyons Resort, you can also swing a free day of lodgings among other packages.
Until April 8, you can book a stay at the Sundance Resort and ski free. Utah residents can also get a deal specially for locals–just present your ID.
You can find 50 percent off coupons for Brian Head at participating Maveriks. There are also midweek specials for the Southern Utah resort.
Snowbird has an Early Week Ski Free Special, only $99 per person per night. This is for early week stays–as in Friday or Saturday night bookings do not qualify. There is a two-night minimum and five-night max. They have other hot deals.
Solitude Direct has a couple Midweek Specials both this week and the week of April 9-15.
Also there are several other lodging deals near Alta, Brighton, Snowbird and Solitude.
For other hot deals in Utah lodgings and such, there is a Utah website that has many of them if you know the area/resort you want to head to!
So if you haven’t yet, be sure to get out to Utah’s best snow on Earth with one of the resorts while their slopes are still open! Time’s running out so plan your trip now before the season’s over!
